Decatur Area Technical Academy moves more classes to Richland Community College
The Heartland Region board voted in February 2011 to give Director Jodi Ferriell authority to pursue moving more of the Technical Academy classes to Richland Community College beginning in the fall of 2011. Classes being moved to Richland include broadcast production, business technology and procedures, computer repair and networking, coooperative work education, criminal justice, and family and consumer science related occupations. These classes join programs already meeting at Richland, including agribusiness, computer assisted drafting, firefighting, graphic arts, and web programming.
